Easy Floral Tutorial
These flowers are so simple to draw and look so great if you use any color scheme. I went with the classic pasty pink with gold and black. You can mix it up and use spring colors to look less formal. The possibilities are endless!
I used acrylic paint for the flowers because it dries quickly and holds its color. You can use regular polish but keep in mind that you will have to wait for it to completely dry before you can layer other colors and it will also need multiple coats. It's a little more time consuming to use polish but it's definitely possible.
I only had two shades of pink acrylic paint. To get a third, I simply mixed the darker shade with the lighter shade to get a "medium" shade.
After the base polish is completely dried, with a dotting tool or toothpick, use the darkest shade of pink to make a few little swirls on your nail.
Next, use the medium pink to make smaller swirls or just little highlights on top of the darker pink. Repeat the same with the lightest shade of pink. Layer them on top of each other from darkest to lightest. They don't have to be perfect and there's no specific way of doing this step. As you can see I did lines and splotches of the medium pink and then just put the lighter pink on top.
Next all you need to do is add the green leaves and you're done!!
